Implementasi dan Efektivitas Pendampingan Pemadanan NIK dan NPWP di Yayasan Kasih Sejahtera

Abstract

The implementation of the use of the Population Identification Number (NIK) as a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) for Individual Taxpayers within the Kasih Sejahtera LampungFoundation is a strategic step in supporting the harmonization of tax regulations in accordance with Article 2 paragraph (1a) of Law Number 7 of the Year 2021 and PMK Number 112/PMK.03/2022. This initiative, which was launched on Tax Day 19 July 2022, aims to simplify population administration and make it easier for people to fulfill their tax obligations. It is hoped that the integration of NIK and NPWP can overcome the problem of having too many identification numbers in the community, reduce the shadow economy which is estimated to reach 8.3 to 10 percent of GDP, and increase Indonesia's tax ratio, which is currently still below the Asia Pacific region average. As of January 8 2023, 53 million NIKs had been validated as NPWPs, showing significant progress in this effort.This community service activity is focused on socialization and assistance for Individual Taxpayers within the Kasih Sejahtera LampungFoundation. The aim is to provide a better understanding regarding the obligation to activate NIK as a NPWP and how to fill in and validate this data via the DJP Online account or the jasa.go.id page. With this training and assistance, it is hoped that taxpayers can fulfill their tax obligations more easily and effectively, thereby contributing to increasing tax compliance in Indonesia. Apart from that, this activity also supports the tridharma of higher education, namely community service, and encourages the entire IBI Unitary academic community to be more tax compliant for the sake of a better Indonesia.
