Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in the national economy, but they still face various challenges in business management, particularly in planning and feasibility analysis. A lack of understanding of feasibility analysis prevents many MSMEs from optimally managing their businesses or accessing formal financing. This study aims to analyze the effect of business feasibility analysis training on improving MSMEs' understanding.
This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design using a one-group pretest-posttest model. The study subjects consisted of 30 MSMEs in the home industry sector in South Lampung Regency. Data were collected using pretest and posttest instruments that measured participants' understanding of legal, financial, production, marketing, and business management aspects. Data analysis techniques included descriptive analysis, normality tests, paired samples t-tests, and effect size calculations to determine the effectiveness of the training.
The results showed a significant increase in understanding after the training, as indicated by the difference in mean pretest and posttest scores with a significance level of p < 0.05. The relatively large effect size indicates that the training had a strong impact on improving participants' understanding. The financial aspect was the component that experienced the most significant improvement compared to other aspects. These findings indicate that business feasibility analysis training plays a crucial role in enhancing the cognitive capacity of MSMEs, particularly in business planning and decision-making. This research is expected to serve as a reference in developing sustainable MSME capacity-building programs.
